The network latency between the server and the client can slow down the work - ARCHICAD accesses the key after regular commands, and the user must wait for the server's answer.An active Internet connection is needed when ARCHICAD is running - any connection problem will prevent the client from using ARCHICAD.It is important to know that most of the internet service providers are distributing dynamic IP addresses - which makes hard to handle the rights The access to the server needs to be controlled, the allowed client's IP addresses have to set one by one.Using VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection to access the serverĪdvantages and disadvantages of a Public server Advantages.
We suggest using license borrowing or single keys to avoid network related issues. Most of the potential problems are network setting related ones.

Once the service has restarted, launch ARD. Choose the 'Restart CodeMeter Service' option. (C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\CodeMeterCC.exe) Return back to the CodeMeterCC window. 
In the text box, 'Enter the Server's name or IP-Address'. In the 'Server Search List' box, click on the '+ add new Server' option. CodeMeter WebAdmin should open in your current browser and you will see it open to the 'Container' tab. In the CodeMeterCC window, click on the 'WebAdmin' button in the bottom, right-hand corner. If you do have license containers listed, you will need to delete those. If you have just installed the machine you may not have any. The default location for this is C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\CodeMeterCC.exe. Launch CodeMeter Control Center (CC) and verify you do not have any license containers. In order for your machine to connect to the licensing server and not look for a license, you will need to have an empty CodeMeterCC window with no license containers. These directions (under 'Set up the User Machines' section) will outline with screenshots how to do this: You will need to go into the Web Admin and re-connect your instance of CodeMeter to the concurrent license server.
